the vault
A darkly comic drama set inside what appears to be a sealed bank vault. When Uni friends Becky, Scott and Helen awaken seemingly imprisoned, a disembodied voice forces them to solve cryptic tasks to escape their predicament. Their missing friend Nik has secretly spent five years laundering money for a Russian crime syndicate and has now turned informant.
Personal betrayals and political hypocrisies surface as what begins as a puzzle becomes a reckoning, and the vault transforms from prison to
protection in a final explosive reveal.
who is kevin gilbert?
A play with music about the life and career of Kevin Gilbert — a gifted musician,
songwriter, performer and producer whose work helped launch others careers while his own fell painfully out of reach of his own aspirations. His youthful rise in the music business leads him to believe he’s destined for success, albeit conflicted about what that would mean artistically. As the play progresses, Kevin loses the things he holds most dear : creative partnerships, romantic anchors, faith in the music ‘business.’
